Problem Probable cause Solution
The surge-protected
outlets stop
providing power to
devices. The circuit
breaker button is
projecting from the
side of your UPS.
The circuit breaker
has tripped due to an
overload.
Turn off your UPS
and unplug at least
one device. Wait 10
seconds, reset the
circuit breaker by
depressing the
button, then turn on
your UPS.
The battery does not
run as long as
expected.
The battery charge is
depleted.
The battery is worn
out.
Recharge the battery.
Replace the battery.
The UPS will not turn
on.
The UPS is not
plugged in.
The on/off switch is
designed to prevent
damage by rapidly
turning it off and on.
Mechanical problem
Plug the UPS into an
electrical outlet.
Turn off your UPS.
Wait 10 seconds,
then turn on your
UPS.
Contact your
supplier.

The USB or serial
cable is not
connected.
The USB or serial
